The Quadrette de Gascogne is a group of amateur dancers, specialized in traditional dances from south west of France (such as Gascogne, and Basque coutry). We are also presenting dances created during the 19th century, like quadrilles and contredanses.

We perform all year long all over south western France, especially to animate village fairs or parties. We also present a yearly show in Lormont, that occurs in January and allows us to show our savoir-faire.

We are used to participating to traditional dance festivals, like those of Seychelles or in the French West Indies (Martinique and Guadeloupe). There we present french old dances that are the roots of the local dances, because of their spread by colinisation.
We'd like now to explore the related northern american dances from Canada and U.S.A.. Please, think of us for your next square dance festival !

More locally, we organise a weekly workshop, equally opened to beginners and to experimented dancers, to practice and enjoy traditional dances. This workshop occurs every Wednesday, in Lormont (France) at the Athénée Municipal, at 19:00 P.M..
Don't hesitate to visit us, when you're around !

On this site, you'll be able to appreciate the wide range of dances that we perform, to know where and when to see us, to have a look at the photos galleries etc...

Many Thanx to Céline for this page !
